I can't say enough good things about Jackie and her husband Steven. I live in California right now and managing my home in Virginia Beach was becoming too much for me. I hired them first to manage the property and then to sell it. They were incredible managing the home. My last tenants left it a disaster and they were able to get me great deals on all the repair work so the house looked great again and they got it rented quickly. Then when it came time to sell they were once again incredible. Jackie got the house under contract after it had been listed for just 24 days. Then she was able to negotiate several surprise issues with the buyer and got me clear of the house with some cash in my pocket. I was pretty convinced this house would bankrupt and/or drive me insane and I am certain the Dunbar's are the reason it didn't. I can't thank them enough and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy, rent, or sell or in need of a trustworthy property manager.

We worked with Steve for 2 years as our property manager for our house we were renting out. Steve was very professional and always kept us in the loop with maintenance issues and always had someone readily available to fix the problem. When it came time to sell the house, even in a slow time to sell (February) Steve and his wife Jackie were up front about the possibility that it could take a while considering the time but confident that they could sell it quickly, as Jackie said her average time on market was approximately 30 days. Let me offer two example of excellent customer service by the Dunbar Team. Both of these happened while we were out of town…while on vacation last winter, a neighbor call on a Sunday to say a huge branch fell from a tree and punctured the roof of our residence Rain was forecasted to continue for the next week. I called Steve for help. Within a hour, he had temporary repairs being made that day, until permanent ones could be done on Monday. We resumed our vacation with confidence knowing that a seasoned and qualified vendor was on the job. Just the other day, again I was out of town, I received a call saying that a rental property of ours ,appeared to be had the front door. Left wide open, and the tenants did not appear to be home. Again I called the Remax Alliance team and within 15 minutes Steve called me back to say the House was secure. Not only do we get quality tenants, but we get so much more in terms of extra value and care for our properties, and excellent customer service from all of the professionals on the Team. I can’t imagine ever having properties to be managed, and not having the Remax Alliance team handle them for us. They are all the best in their field.
